    The University of South Wales has three campuses in South Wales (in Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd) and a further campus in Dubai (UAE). It was formed following the merger of the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport in 2013.

    The University offers a wide range of mainly vocational and professional courses in areas such as: business, law, social sciences, creative industries, life sciences and education.

    The University has a number of specialist facilities for its creative industry courses including a film, animation, broadcasting, photography, and theatre design. It also hosts the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (a national conservatoire).
