    The main campus of Bedfordshire University is in the city of Luton (about half an hour north of London)

    The University was formed in 2006 by the merger of the University of Luton with the Bedford campus of De Montfort University. It also has campuses in Bedford and Aylesbury  (Midwifery and Nursing) and Milton Keynes (Business and IT).

    It has a strong focus on subjects such as health, social science, sport and education.

    It is often regarded as a local university (focusing on recruiting students from the local area) but it also has a strong recruitment presence in India and China.
