    Queen Margaret University is perfect if you like the idea of studying applied healthcare, arts or social science in a beautiful, quiet coastal environment a stone’s throw from the Scottish capital of Edinburgh.

    The University is located just south of Edinburgh near the coast in the town of Musselburgh. It is a new vocational university with a purpose-built campus and gained its university status in 2007. Its history dates back to 1875 when it was founded as a women only college focused on domestic science. Over the years it began to admit men and also broadened its remit to cover healthcare, including chiropody, speech therapy and occupational therapy. It also offer a range of arts and social science provision.
