    Nottingham Trent University is perfect if you are looking to study applied science, technology or other vocational subjects at a new university. The University was established in 1992 in the city of Nottingham in the North East Midlands. It has three campuses, the main one is in the city centre, whilst its Clifton campus and Brackenhurst campus are 4 miles and 14 miles from the city centre respectively.

    It focuses on a range of academic and applied subjects including: architecture, design, business and law, science and  technology. It also focuses on animal and environmental sciences at its Brackenhurst campus.

    Nottingham Trent is focusing increasingly on research and has received significant funding awards for its cancer research amongst other things.

    The University also offers Degree Apprenticeships sponsored by Rolls Royce which lead to a BA (Hons) in Business and Management. The Degree Apprenticeships involve placements in Rolls Royce’s Civil Aerospace Commercial departments based in Derby.
