    The University is spread across a number of old and new buildings in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff, with much of the university’s activity based around Cathay’s Park (Cardiff’s civic centre).     The University has an admirable list of alumni, including senior politicians, academics, journalists, business people and sports stars. It has also produced Nobel prize winners in medicine and chemistry.
