  • Profile

Bangor University is perfect if you’d like a small town university experience in a semi-rural part of North West Wales. It is relatively remote on the Welsh mainland just across from the island of Anglesey.

It was founded in 1885 and from 1893 – 2007 it was part of the federal University of Wales.

The University offers courses in a wide range of subject areas and despite its relatively remote location it offers a good university social life and scores well for student satisfaction and teaching quality.

Bangor University delivers Degree Apprenticeships in Business (focused on supply chain management) sponsored by Airbus. Apprentices undertake work-based training at Airbus in Broughton, North Wales and graduate with an BSc in Applied Business Management.
